'Diia' will no longer be free: who and what will have to pay.

The first paid service for businesses in 'Diia': what it means for users
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has announced an important innovation - starting from June 1, 2024, the 'Diia' app will introduce its first paid service for businesses. This information was announced by the head of the Diia implementation team, Oleksiy Vovk. It is worth noting that all services for citizens remain free.
According to the announcement, the multi-sharing service will become paid, allowing multiple digital documents to be transferred in one request simultaneously. It is expected that this will make the document exchange process faster and more convenient for both businesses and clients. According to Vovk, the decision to monetize was made against the backdrop of 'Diia' becoming a full-fledged digital infrastructure used by millions of citizens and thousands of businesses.
- driver's license
- education documents
- IDP certificate
- foreign passport
- ID card
- pension certificate
- veteran certificate
- permits for permanent and temporary residence
- child's birth certificate
- student ID
- vehicle registration certificate
- tax number (TIN)
- certified records (name change, marriage, divorce)
The only document available only through multi-sharing is the income certificate.
Oleksiy Vovk noted that the decision to monetize is taking place in close cooperation with business representatives. This course is aimed at ensuring the development of services and shaping future tariff models that meet market needs.
Analysis of the news
The introduction of a paid service for businesses in the 'Diia' app is a logical step towards the development of Ukraine's digital infrastructure. This will not only improve the processes of document exchange but also ensure stability and development of the service as a whole. At the same Time, the preservation of free services for citizens guarantees accessibility of digital services for all users.
