The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated a Russian football player.

According to Glavkom, the Ukrainian defense forces destroyed the Russian occupier Oleksandr Slepniov, who was previously a well-known football player. Oleksandr played as a goalkeeper and participated in amateur tournaments organized by the Podolsk Football Federation. He played for various teams such as 'Fakel', 'Dynamo', 'Peresvit', 'Adrenaline' and 'Veterans P-K'. Typically, the farewell to the deceased is to take place tomorrow, however, there are currently no details regarding the date and circumstances of his death.
Also, the football player and futsal player Oleksiy Yablonsky, who was from Crimea, and the wrestler Bator Erdyniev were eliminated. Yablonsky, who played for the 'PFS' (Sevastopol) team in the Ukrainian futsal and beach football championships, even had to represent the youth national team of Ukraine in futsal. He also played for various teams, including 'Krymenteplytsya' and 'Mir'. After the annexation of Crimea, he continued his career in the 'Premier League of the Crimean Football Union'. Erdyniev had achievements in freestyle wrestling, and later served in the occupational tank brigade. Both deceased left behind families who lost their loved ones.
These events indicate Ukraine's determination to defend its territory, despite the fact that among the occupiers there are not only military personnel but also football players and athletes. The Russian aggression in Donbass and Crimea has a complex nature, encompassing various areas of life. Unfortunately, the deaths have brought suffering to many families who lost their loved ones. These facts require joint efforts to stop Russian aggression and restore peace on our land.
