The head of the president's office, Andriy Ermak, posted fresh photos of the aftermath of Russia's rocket attack on Kyiv. The picture shows a destroyed apartment building engulfed in flames and two people hiding from this horrific sight. Ermak, commenting on the photo, emphasized that Russia continues the war and attacks the civilian residents of Kyiv.

“This is why Russia does everything not to cease fire and continue the war,” Ermak stated.

Air raid sirens sounded over Kyiv around 10:00 PM, and later the city's residents felt numerous explosions. On the same evening of May 23, Russian forces launched a new drone strike, as a result of which two civilians sustained thigh injuries. They have been hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical assistance.
