Well-known architect and widow of a defender emotionally addressed Ukrainians and Europeans.

Anna Kyriy appealed to the European Parliament for help for Ukraine
Anna Kyriy, an architect, entrepreneur, and widow of warrior Arsen Fedosenko, spoke before the European Parliament in Brussels, where she recounted the difficult conditions under which women in Ukraine have to live during the war. She noted that Ukrainian patriots are the most discriminated community in the country, as they invest their resources and lives in building the state.
Kyriy emphasized that as a widow of a fallen warrior, she has received no help from the state after her husband’s death. She also urged Ukrainians to continue choosing Ukraine and fighting for its construction, despite the difficulties. According to her, the Ukrainian state needs support from Europe, including security provisions and NATO membership.
Kyriy also pointed out that the lack of assistance from Western allies is actually harming creative, honest, and patriotic citizens, while corrupt officials face no threats. She questioned whether Europe is truly capable of supporting Ukraine and called on Ukrainians to remember European values and principles.
At the end of her speech, Anna Kyriy urged Ukrainians to take responsibility for their state and to rely only on themselves and their relatives.
