Swing state voters back Trump over Harris - poll.

Voters in six key states favor Trump over Harris
According to a new poll by the Institute for Global Affairs, voters in six swing states are more likely to support Donald Trump as President of the USA than his Democratic rival Kamala Harris. The poll indicates Trump is perceived to respond better to situations in Ukraine and Gaza, protect Taiwan, and represent the country’s interests better on the international stage.
The poll showed that nationwide, more American voters believe Harris will better protect the country’s interests (52% vs. 48%). However, Trump leads in six states - Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin - where the majority believe he will better protect America (56% vs. 44%).
Trump also holds an advantage over Harris on issues such as the war in Gaza, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and a potential Chinese attack on Taiwan. Additionally, he is seen as better on immigration policy.
Though foreign policy is not the main issue for voters this year, the poll results showed that these issues could influence Trump’s popularity among voters in other states. According to Mark Hanna, an expert at the Institute for Global Affairs, Trump can attract those who view him as less interventionist in foreign policy.
The poll was conducted among 1,865 U.S. citizens eligible to vote. Of these, 1,000 were in six significant states. The margin of error is +/-3.9%.
