The government simplifies passport issuance for men abroad.

The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified passport issuance for men aged 18-60
The Government of Ukraine has made changes to the procedure for issuing passports for men aged 18 to 60 who are abroad. Now, it is not necessary to personally present a military ticket to obtain the document, the government's press service reported through the 'Glaсkom' portal.
Automation of the passport issuance process
Branches of the state enterprise 'Document' abroad independently check for military registration in the electronic register. If the data is found to be missing, the individual is automatically included in military registration, and a military ticket is created in electronic form.
Additionally, it is no longer necessary to undergo a medical commission, as all necessary checks are carried out automatically without any additional actions from the applicant.
Changes in the cost of forms and service fees
Moreover, starting from January 1, 2025, the Polygraphic Plant 'Ukraine' has changed the cost of forms for some biometric documents, leading to an increase in the overall cost of passport and other document issuance. Also, the costs of service packages for passport and immigration services have changed in the branches of the State Enterprise 'Document' in Ukraine.
It should also be noted that 'Ukrposhta' provides the service of delivering foreign passports to 134 countries for a fixed fee of $6 plus 10 UAH VAT compared to the previous price of over $100.
Among other news, the state enterprise 'Document' announced its intention to issue documents whose issuance is delayed to more than 80 thousand citizens of Ukraine living in Poland.
