Ukrainians explained what threatens for non-payment of fines from the CCC: arrest of accounts and property.

Ukraine will hit those evading mobilization
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine announced plans to combat evaders of mobilization. By the end of 2024, 900,000 summonses will be sent to conscripts. Upon receiving a summons, only three days are given, after which one can receive a fine of up to 25,500 hryvnias. In case of non-payment, the enforcement service may arrest the bank accounts and property of the individual. However, housing will not be seized if the fine amount is less than 160,000 hryvnias. The Ministry does not provide information about the number of such cases and the amount of collected funds, explaining that such statistics are not maintained separately. Experts emphasize the importance of paying attention to military commissariat notifications and timely updating of data in military records, as well as not ignoring the received summons and contacting the relevant authorities for explanations. It is advisable for Ukrainians to be aware of these changes to avoid mobilization issues.
