The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine plans to receive an additional $15 billion in external aid by the end of 2024.
This was announced by the ministry's press service at the IMF and World Bank congress in Washington.
During October 21-26, the team of the ministry met with international financial leaders more than 70 times.
"All partners emphasized their readiness to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine, which is also confirmed by significant achievements in mobilizing aid for the next year. By the end of this year, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine plans to attract over 15 billion US dollars in external financing. Partners declared they would provide full support"
The ministry also noted that the G7 countries are united on the issue of using the proceeds from frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine.
The money is expected to be available from the beginning of 2025.
