Seizure of colony No19: casualties and injuries
In the Volgograd region, Russia, there was a seizure of colony No19, during which employees were killed and numerous individuals were injured. According to Russian publics, a group of prisoners is being held as hostages.
In the video from the scene, you can see the dead and injured employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service, whom the attackers are holding with knives. According to the source Shot, the attack occurred during a disciplinary commission meeting, and there are up to five employees held hostage; their attackers could be four individuals. Preliminary data from the Baza channel indicate that three employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service were killed.
Special forces arrived at the scene, and there are a total of 1230 prisoners in the colony.
Recently, the Telegram channel Baza reported that the head of the colony, Andrey Devyatov, is in intensive care after the seizure. It was previously reported that he had been taken hostage. Devyatov is among five individuals who managed to escape from the criminals. Among the escapees are also four employees of the correctional colony and one prisoner.
Three people killed during the seizure of IK-19
In the Volgograd region, the seizure of colony IK-19 led to the death of three individuals. According to Baza, at least two individuals managed to escape from the captors. They were taken to the hospital with stab and penetrating injuries. Among the escapees is one employee of the correctional colony and one prisoner.
It was previously reported that in the Krasnoyarsk region, Russia, the closure of two colonies is planned. Most of the prisoners will be sent to the war against Ukraine.
