UAF Navy explained the importance of the Kinburn Spit.

In the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was reported that from the occupied Kinburn Spit, Russian invaders continue shelling the southern regions of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
Also, from this location, the enemy can attack ships that can potentially enter the waters of the Dnipro-Bug estuary, said the spokesman of the UAF Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk.
This water area is a route to the sea ports of Mykolaiv.
In addition, this water area still needs to be checked for mine safety.
Pletenchuk explained that the Dnipro River from the Kherson region flows into this area, so it can be assumed that there may be many explosive objects there.
The Navy spokesman added that the waters of the Dnipro-Bug estuary are important for both Ukraine and the enemy.
Unfortunately, at the moment, this water area is being shot at from the Kinburn Spit.
From the Kinburn Spit, the Russians can also shell Mykolaiv and other cities. Defense forces periodically strike in response to such enemy attacks from the occupiers, noted Pletenchuk.
