In the digital space, 'Veteran PRO' has launched a service for finding support specialists. Soon, options for medical services, employment, and business grants will also be available. This was announced by the Minister for Veterans Affairs, Natalia Kalmykova, during one of the TV broadcasts, as quoted by 'Ukrinform'.How the support specialist search service is helpfulAccording to the minister, 'Veteran PRO' has already integrated the services that were available to veterans under special conditions. She emphasized that everything will be done to ensure that the programs created by the state for veterans are collected in one place for convenience.'There is already a new service on the Diya platform and eWork, eHousing, etc. — this is the search for a support specialist. We noticed that sometimes it is difficult for a person to find the specialist who will guide them (the veteran — Ed.) through all the tasks. The next stages will be medicine, employment, and business grants,' Kalmykova explained. The minister clarified that if the 'Veteran PRO' section does not appear in the 'Diya' application, it should be updated to the latest version. Additionally, one can contact the Ministry of Veterans Affairs — especially through social networks — to describe the situation, and specialists will help resolve the issue.Kalmykova stressed that the main role of the support specialist is to assist veterans and their families, as well as the families of deceased soldiers in navigating available state and municipal services.According to her, nearly 1400 such specialists are already prepared for work in 1100 communities across the country. In small settlements, communities can unite so that one specialist can provide services to veterans from several ATGs simultaneously. The minister also noted that gradually all services provided by support specialists will be digitized. At the same Time, she emphasized that there are veterans with vision problems due to injuries who cannot fully use digital solutions, as well as those who do not use smartphones or mobile applications at all.'In any case, we are currently building a digital frontend and an offline frontend. They complement each other, but I do not think that we will ever reach a situation where it will be exclusively digital,' she concluded. As a reminder, we recently wrote that a new digital service for Ukrainian warriors called 'Path of the Wounded' will be available in the 'Diya' application. This tool automates the paperwork and payments process for injured fighters, simplifying access to state aid. We also reported on how combatants can receive an apartment from the state.Ukrainian Minister for Veterans Affairs Natalia Kalmykova presented a new 'Veteran PRO' service for finding support specialists and announced plans to implement options for medical services, employment, and business grants. This solution aims to facilitate veterans' access to needed services and support in navigating modern digital technologies.
