Explosion in the port of 'Kavkaz' in Kuban
A powerful explosion occurred in the port of 'Kavkaz' in Kuban, as reported by Crimean Telegram channels. Eyewitnesses describe a large column of smoke rising from the port area.
According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred on the ferry 'Akvatrader', which was loaded with railway tankers containing fuel.
"Our source in the Kerch port reports that in the port of 'Kavkaz', they hit the ferry 'Akvatrader', which was already loaded with railway tankers containing fuel," writes the Telegram channel 'Crimean Wind'.
In connection with the incident, a missile alarm sounded in the occupied Sevastopol, and combat readiness was declared in the military units of the city. The Crimean bridge is temporarily closed.
There are currently no official comments on the incident. The situation remains tense, with local residents sharing information and photos on social networks.
