A car accident occurred in Odessa, a woman was injured
In Odessa, on Mykhailo Komarov Street, a traffic accident occurred, resulting in one person being injured. According to the regional police, the accident took place on September 20 at 22:00.
According to preliminary data, the driver of the minibus, a 50-year-old man, crashed into the rear of the car, driven by a 37-year-old man when the latter suddenly stopped. The driver of the car explained that while driving, he noticed a hedgehog on the road, so he braked to avoid hitting the animal.
As a result of the collision, a 38-year-old passenger of the minibus was injured. She was diagnosed with a broken arm, the medics reported.
The investigative group of the regional police and patrol officers worked at the scene of the incident. Both drivers were sober, law enforcement officers confirmed.
Investigators registered a criminal case for violating traffic safety rules or vehicle operation, which resulted in moderate injury to the victim, under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. As part of the investigation, examinations will be appointed, and all circumstances of the incident will be established.
Recall, earlier an accident involving People's Deputy Ihor Kopytin occurred. He was injured and hospitalized. The accident happened on the Kyiv-Odessa highway when the People's Deputy's car crashed into a concrete barrier.
Also, a fatal traffic accident occurred on Lobanovsky Avenue in Kyiv. A car collided with a truck. Ambulances, police, and rescuers worked at the scene of the incident.
