The White House reacted to the possible involvement of North Korean military in the war in Ukraine.

White House advisor John Kirby said that the United States, together with allies and partners, is examining information about the possibility of North Korean troops being sent to Russia to be used in the war by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
He also noted that the U.S. is communicating with its allies and partners to learn their opinions and observations on this issue.
John Kirby emphasized that such a situation indicates Putin's desperation and the growing level of his isolation if he is forced to involve assistance from North Korea. He also noted that Russians are losing a significant number of military personnel on the battlefield daily, which is a historical record.
"This indicates that Putin is becoming increasingly desperate and isolated on the international stage," the White House representative emphasized.
