Trump banned entry to the USA for citizens from 12 countries: who made the list

US President Donald Trump decided to ban the entry of citizens from 12 countries in connection with the fight against terrorism and illegal migration. This news was announced by CNN.

Among the countries whose citizens can no longer enter the USA are Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Yemen, and others. Entry is also restricted for citizens of Burundi, Cuba, Laos, and others.

'President Trump is fulfilling his promise to protect Americans from dangerous foreigners who want to come to our country and harm us. These restrictions apply to countries where there is insufficient vetting, high rates of visa violations, or inadequate information exchange regarding threats,' said Deputy White House Press Secretary Abigail Jackson.

It was also noted that exemptions are provided for certain categories of individuals, and the ban may be expanded in case of new threats emerging in the world. The initiative has drawn criticism from the governments of the countries whose citizens have been affected by this ban. For example, the Minister of Interior and Justice of Venezuela stated that being in the USA is dangerous for everyone, not just for Venezuelans.

Currently, US President Donald Trump has tightened security and control measures at the borders of the country by banning entry to citizens from certain countries due to justified restrictions related to terrorism and illegal migration. This initiative has sparked negative reactions in some countries that have fallen under the ban.
