Activist Serhiy Sternenko published a photo with the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, after the attack he was subjected to on May 1.

On his Instagram page, Serhiy wrote: 'Nothing will remain unpunished. Fiat justitia ruat caelum'.

The t-shirt that Sternenko wore during the attack garnered admiration from social media users. It featured an image of the woman who attacked him, as well as the SBU emblem.

Internet users expressed the opinion that this t-shirt has a stylish design and suggested creating a corresponding product.

On May 1, Serhiy Sternenko was attacked with firearms. The police quickly detained the assailant. The video captured the moment the shot was fired at the activist.

On March 14, activist Dmytro Hanul was killed in Odesa after appealing to the SBU for protection. According to military sources, the suspect in Hanul's murder was a deserter.

The video shows the assailant waiting for Sternenko near the building and then shooting at him. However, SBU employees managed to save the activist.

Sternenko underwent surgery, during which doctors removed the bullets. According to him, the bullet did not affect any vital organs.

The SBU investigators reported suspicion against the woman who carried out the attack. The detained woman is a 45-year-old native of the Odesa region who lived in Kyiv. According to the investigation, she was recruited by Russian special services via the Internet. She faces up to 15 years in prison.

During the court hearing, the suspect stated that she was not familiar with Sternenko and did not follow his activities. She is unemployed and a first-group disabled person. She had no previous criminal records.

The lawyer emphasized that the person she trusted offered her to eliminate Sternenko, claiming that Sternenko works for the FSB and directs movements in Kyiv.
