It has become known when Lithuania will help Ukraine train military instructors.

Ukrainian instructors for basic military training will be able to receive education in Lithuania starting in 2025, reports the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Sergiy Melnyk, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, reached an agreement on training with international military education advisor of the Republic of Lithuania, Stasys Paldunas.
The first 30 Ukrainian instructors will undergo training courses in Lithuania and will then be able to apply NATO methodologies and approaches in Ukraine.
«Improving military education and combat training is one of the main tasks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are grateful to our partners for the support that allows us to integrate NATO's advanced standards into our training,» said Melnyk.
The prospects for updating training programs for combat shooting were also discussed. A pilot project is planned to be launched in two Ukrainian educational institutions that meet Alliance standards.
Earlier, Ukrainian military personnel received training in Germany, using tanks from museums to learn tactics for mine-explosive traps. Training was also conducted in the United Kingdom on storming buildings in urban environments.
