USA, UK and EU to sign first AI agreement.

The USA, the United Kingdom and the European Union will sign the first legally binding international treaty on the use of artificial intelligence. Reuters reports this.
It is noted that the AI convention was developed over several years and was adopted in May after discussions among 57 countries. The document will address risks associated with artificial intelligence and promote innovation in this field.
The convention is primarily focused on protecting the rights of people affected by the use of AI systems.
This convention will be separate from the EU AI law that came into effect last month.
According to the UK Ministry of Justice's Shabana Mahmood, the agreement ensures that «new technologies can be used without destroying our oldest values».
In addition, Canada is introducing a controversial new policy regarding the use of artificial intelligence. New programs are planned to be launched in Canadian schools, which not all Canadians will like.
Catholic schools in Ottawa will start using AI in the learning process from the beginning of the new school year. Specifically, AI will be used for solving mathematical problems, drafting notes and essays. Additionally, educators will be able to interact with robots, for example, for checking homework.
