Fatal accident near Odessa: Infiniti driver lost control.

On the evening of July 6, 2025, a tragedy occurred on the Odessa – Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi – Monashi highway. The driver of the 'Infiniti' lost control, veered off the road, and died. According to the Odessa regional police, the man was 50 years old.

The investigation of the crime is being conducted by the Odessa regional police. Special police groups are working at the scene, including investigative and operational teams from the regional police and the patrol police of the Odessa district. According to Dmytro Slyuta, the investigation is still ongoing.

Agent of Russian special services detained in Odessa

It should be noted that employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained an agent of the Russian special services who carried out a terrorist act in Odessa on the morning of July 5. This was reported by 'Glyavkom' citing the press service of the SBU.

The suspect in the terrorist act is a 22-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia with a criminal past. He was recruited via social media. According to the investigation, the man prepared explosives for a vehicle under the supervision of the special services.

As a result of the traffic accident, the driver of the 'Infiniti' in the Odessa region died, and an agent of the Russian special services who planned a terrorist act in the city was detained. The police continue to investigate both incidents to establish all the circumstances and causes of these events.
