Bad weather and dangerous phenomena warned by meteorologists
Meteorologists warned about dangerous meteorological phenomena expected in Ukraine on May 22. This was reported by 'Glavcom' referring to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
On this day, thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds up to 15-20 m/s are expected in the western and Vinnytsia regions.
An orange level of danger is declared in the following regions:
- Volyn;
- Rivne;
- Lviv;
- Ternopil;
- Khmelnytskyi;
- Transcarpathian;
- Ivano-Frankivsk;
- Chernivtsi;
- Vinnytsia.
Recall that on May 21, cloudy weather with clarifications and occasional rains is expected. In the eastern, Dnipropetrovsk, and occasionally Zaporizhzhia regions, moderate rain is possible at night, while small short-term rains are expected during the day; no precipitation is forecasted in the rest of the territory.
On Thursday and Friday, May 22-23, the air temperature will be +20…+25°C, with the exception of western regions where the temperature will reach +15…+20°C. Over the weekend, May 24 and 25, meteorologists forecast a short-term cooling, followed by warmth again.
