In Lviv on July 16, the exhumation of Soviet burials at 'Hill of Glory' was completed. A total of 355 remains were discovered. The remains of NKVD agent Mykola Kuznetsov and Major Stepan Putin have also been reburied.

The dismantling of the Soviet memorial at Hill of Glory in Lviv has been completed — today the exhumation of remains found in the territory of the former necropolis is finished. In total, 355 remains were discovered, including those of agents of the Soviet special services.
As reported by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, all remains, including NKVD agent Mykola Kuznetsov and a person with the surname Putin, will be reburied at Holoskivske Cemetery.
'We are ready to exchange all these remains for Ukrainian defenders', the mayor wrote in his post.
