Attack in Khmelnytskyi region: there are casualties and destruction
Against the night of October 24, during an air raid, residents of the Khmelnytskyi region heard the sounds of explosions. According to the mayor of Starokostiantyniv, Mykola Melnychuk, as a result of the attack in the Starokostiantyniv community, there are casualties and destruction.
Currently, there are four known casualties. A hotel building in the community is damaged. The roof was completely torn off. In addition, windows and panes in multi-story and private homes are broken. All relevant services are working at the scene.
The head of Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tyurin, reported that eight Shahed-type UAVs were shot down over the region.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the movement of "shaheds" towards Starokostiantyniv at 03:53. Later, they reported the shooting down of 40 Russian UAVs, including in the Khmelnytskyi region.
