Market or Supermarket: Ukrainians were shown where it is cheaper to buy potatoes.

Potato prices remain stable
In September, Ukrainians are tracking potato prices, which are a staple food for many people. According to data collected by 'Khvylya', potato prices in wholesale markets and supermarkets are stable.
At the Lviv wholesale market 'Shuvar', a kilogram of potatoes can be purchased for between 15 and 20 hryvnias, with an average cost of 17.50 hryvnias.
At the Kyiv market 'Pochatok', wholesale prices range from 21 to 23 hryvnias per kilogram, while the retail price reaches 30 hryvnias.
At the capital market 'Stolychnyi', potato prices are slightly lower - from 17 to 19 hryvnias per kilogram, with an average cost of 18 hryvnias.
In supermarkets, the average price for regular potatoes is 26.32 hryvnias per kilogram. The lowest price is recorded in Auchan - 24.20 UAH, and the highest in Megamarket - 29.90 UAH. Young potatoes can be purchased for 40.60 hryvnias per kilogram, and pink varieties for 24.90 hryvnias per kilogram.
Experts have previously predicted that next month potato prices may increase due to rising demand and a decrease in the supply of early varieties, as well as the transition to harvesting late varieties.
