Putin is dead, the metro in Kyiv is closing. How Ukrainians joked on April Fool's Day.

Ukrainian politicians, journalists, and bloggers decided to celebrate April Fool's Day today, April 1st, and engage in entertainment on social media. The most interesting jokes of Ukrainians were gathered by the portal 'Glavcom'.
Leonid Yemets, head of the Kyiv City Council's rules committee and a deputy from 'European Solidarity', 'scared' Kyiv residents with the news of the closure of the capital's metro for three months. However, he noted that the metro shutdown is not related to repairs.
I'm in shock! It turns out the planned three-month shutdown of the metro in Kyiv is not due to repair works. Just don’t laugh, but geodesy has revealed that under the subway Klovska lies the largest deposit of precious stones in Europe. The manifestations of kimberlitic and lamproitic magmatism indicate huge deposits of diamonds. Furthermore, it turns out that for the past six months, the management of the metro has been engaged in illegal mining, and the repair works are just a cover. A criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is underway. At the Kyiv City Council meeting on Thursday, we will consider not only this issue, but also the stones themselves. This is ridiculous.
Yemets' subscribers react interestingly to his joke, but they admit that at first they were frightened by the politician's news.
People's Deputy of Ukraine from 'Holos', Yaroslav Zheleznyak, on his social media page, 'analyzed' the declarations of government officials and spoke about how five ministers used the 'cashback' and 'winter support' programs in 2024.
According to Zheleznyak, Vice-Minister for Restoration Kuleba spent the received cashback and 1000 hryvnias on purchasing food items, while Minister of Health Lyashko spent 1000 hryvnias on purchasing medication.
In his post, Zheleznyak left a hint, wishing everyone a happy April 1st.
Yevhen Platon, a famous yachtsman and blogger, 'announced' the introduction of regulated prices for potatoes in the Russian Federation due to its chemical hazards for food security.
Journalist Natalia Nahorna reported on her page about 'Putin's death'.
I just scroll through the feed. I see this post. And it's pleasant. So I'm sorry. But I think that he actually has died)
Users asked the journalist whether Putin or one of his doubles had died.
April Fool's Day is a positive holiday when everyone has the chance to joke about others. It is a traditional holiday celebrated in many countries. On this day, even the most serious people relax and smile.
