China and Russia plan to deepen cooperation between the countries. This was stated by the Premier of China Li Qiang during his visit to Moscow. The meeting with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin took place as part of strengthening the strategic partnership between China and Russia.
In a leaflet to the media, Li Qiang noted that both countries have a lot in common and can provide each other with tremendous support. He emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation in traditional areas such as economy, trade, investment, agriculture, and energy. Both countries also agreed to develop cooperation in new areas, such as the digital economy, biomedicine, and “green” technologies.
“China and Russia must steadily promote cooperation in traditional areas such as economy and trade, investment, agriculture, and energy, and expand cooperation in new areas, including the digital economy, biomedicine, and the development of ‘green’ technologies,” the statement said.
