Summons, deferments, and military registration: Ukrainians reminded of important mobilization rules.

Ukrainians are informed about important rules regarding summons, deferments, and military registration
The head of the military registration department of the Kharkiv Regional Military Commissariat and Recruitment Office, Lyubomyr Khomitsky, informed Ukrainians about important military registration rules on his Facebook page.
It is reminded that in conditions of martial law, men on military registration must adhere to certain rules. This means that they must have a military card, appear for summons at the Regional Military Commissariat, and update their data.
Main rules of military registration:
- Register at the Regional Military Commissariat
- Update personal data through the electronic cabinet or at the Regional Military Commissariat
- Present the military registration document during mobilization
- Appear at the Regional Military Commissariat when summoned at the specified Time and place
It is important to remember that the military registration document in electronic and paper form has equal legal force.
The document can be obtained in paper form at the Regional Military Commissariat or in electronic form with a QR code through the "Reserve+" app or the "Diya" portal.
If you receive a summons, you must appear at the Regional Military Commissariat at the specified time and place. In case of inability to appear on time, you must report the reason for non-attendance through the Regional Military Commissariat or any available means of communication. Reasons for non-appearance may include the death of a close relative, illness, military actions, and other circumstances that prevent attendance at the specified time and place.
For conscripts with deferments, it is important to provide the relevant documents to the heads of the commissions of district Regional Military Commissariats to extend the deferment. The deferment is granted for a period determined by law, but not longer than the mobilization period. To extend the deferment, you must write an application to the Regional Military Commissariat.
Violation of military registration rules carries a penalty ranging from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias.
