In the Kyiv region, a TCC employee brutally beat a mobilized man, resulting in the man's death.

According to the materials of the case, a civilian man was detained for violating military registration rules. He was declared fit for service and sent to the military unit. However, due to alcohol problems and a thigh injury, he was not accepted into the institution.

After that, he was attempted to be sent to a training center, but was refused there as well due to varicose veins.

Ultimately, together with other men, they decided to return the mobilized man to the gathering point. During the bus ride, the man began to shout after drinking alcohol. The TCC employee struck him in the face and torso, and then slammed him hard to the floor.

The mobilized man tried to get up, but the soldier stepped on his chest. As reported in court materials, when the bus arrived at the gathering point in Kyiv, the TCC employee dragged the man out of the vehicle by his legs and left him lying on the ground, where he later died.

The court arrested the serviceman for two months. However, the suspect filed an appeal, but the first instance court's decision remained unchanged. A few days later, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended the arrest until August 11, 2025.
