Pakistan sets condition for ceasefire.

Pakistan demands India to stop hostilities
Pakistan does not plan to escalate the conflict with India if it halts Operation 'Sindhur' and other aggressive actions. This was stated by Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif in an interview with Bloomberg. He emphasized that if India retreats, Pakistan is also ready to cease military actions.
«We have always stated that we will do nothing against India. If India retreats, we will certainly scale back our military actions. But as long as we are being attacked, we will have to respond, we will have to defend ourselves», Asif stressed.
The minister also added that he currently does not have information about possible negotiations between the countries after the exchange of strikes. The Pakistan Armed Forces reported that during the attack 'for self-defense', several aircraft and drones of India were destroyed.
Pakistan also informed the UN Security Council of its right to self-defense following strikes by the Indian Air Force. The Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the republic has the right to act at its discretion, using the provisions of Article 51 of the UN Charter.
Government officials and local residents of Kashmir confirm the continuation of hostilities along the Line of Control. People live in fear, hiding in bunkers due to constant shelling. China called on both countries to refrain from escalating the conflict, while US President Donald Trump expressed serious concern about the situation.
