Germany Returns: Merz Prepares to Unlock Military Aid to Ukraine, Including Taurus Missiles.

Germany Is Ready to Provide Ukraine with 3 Billion Euros in Aid
The major political parties in Germany have reached an agreement on a financial package for additional military aid to Ukraine amounting to 3 billion euros.
Government spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit confirmed that this financial package will be reviewed in the Bundestag next Tuesday, paving the way for military aid to Ukraine.
'As far as I understood, the Chancellor said that if there is counter-financing, nothing would prevent such an agreement. Then it could be done quickly,' Hebestreit noted.
Leader of the CDU/CSU and expected next Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz stated that Germany is ready to allocate additional aid to Ukraine amounting to 3 billion euros, which could occur by the end of March.
The British publication The Guardian also confirmed Merz's statement regarding the preparation of an additional aid package for Ukraine.
It was previously reported that the CDU/CSU, SPD, and 'Greens' had agreed on a planned financial package for defense and infrastructure.
Friedrich Merz believes that the Bundesrat will approve new aid for Ukraine of 3 billion euros as early as next Friday, March 21.
According to a report from Der Spiegel, Merz plans to provide Ukraine with Taurus missiles. Earlier, it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were working on integrating these missiles into SU-24 and F-16 aircraft.
