Netanyahu reacted nervously to the UK's decision to suspend the sale of some weapons to Israel — Media.


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his outrage at the UK's decision to ban the issuance of certain licenses for the export of weapons used in military operations in Gaza.
The criticism arose after the UK blocked about 30 licenses for various goods, including components for military aviation, on September 2. They claimed that this move would not harm Israel's security, but the Prime Minister considers such a decision "shameful".
"A few days after Hamas killed six Israeli hostages, the British government suspended thirty licenses for the supply of weapons to Israel. This shameful decision will not change Israel's determination to defeat Hamas, a genocidal terrorist organization that brutally killed 1,200 people on October 7, including 14 British citizens," Netanyahu wrote.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant also expressed his concern about the sanctions imposed by the UK regarding export licenses for the Israeli defense department.
The UK became the first major ally of Israel to partially suspend the sale of weapons to the country since the beginning of the war. Although the UK is not Israel's main supplier of weapons compared to the USA or Germany, this decision already has diplomatic consequences.
