Ukrainian athlete Olga Korsun talked about her performance in the triple jump qualification at the Euro-2025 Indoor Athletics Championships. Korsun noted that she jumped over 13 meters twice, but finished 15th in the qualification, not reaching her personal record by 0.40 meters. Earlier, she also failed to qualify at the European Indoor Championships.
After being eliminated in the qualification, Korsun shared her emotions about the competition. She mentioned that she had back problems before the matches, but thanks to the masseurs and coaches, she felt better. Korsun hoped to reach the final and improve her seasonal result, but this Time it didn't happen.
At the Euro-2025 Indoor Athletics Championships, three Ukrainian women also did not succeed in the triple jump. Besides Korsun, Maria Siney and Anna Kratuska also did not reach the final. However, two out of three Ukrainian athletes have made it to the finals at these competitions, which are taking place in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.
The men's high jump final will be held on March 8.
