The most colorful conceptual actor celebrates his 71st birthday.


Ukrainian actor and conceptualist Orest Syryvatka turns years old today, April 29. He gained fame for his unique creativity that encompasses work in film, advertising, and photo shoots. Over sixty years, Syryvatka quickly became popular, becoming a cultural phenomenon and gaining recognition not only in Western Ukraine.
Orest Syryvatka brings historical figures to life and works on roles that highlight the uniqueness of Ukrainian culture. He has a mission to popularize Ukrainian history and cultural heritage. Oleg Ushchenko congratulated the actor on his birthday on his page.
Orest Syryvatka was born on April 29, 1954, and previously worked as a construction engineer. Later, he became passionate about cinema. In 2013, he became a conceptualist at the Lviv restaurant 'Doctor Faust' and appeared on the screens of the popular show 'Eagle and Tails'.
Since then, Orest Syryvatka has worked as a 'living legend' recognized among locals and guests of Lviv. His most famous roles include recreating characters that promote the city's historical heritage, such as Mr. Rurmeister, Mayor Bartolomey Zymorovych, and Doctor Faust. He also appears in films in age roles, features in clips of famous singers, and appears in commercials.
The actor's latest known performance took place in 2024 when he appeared as Saint Nicholas in the restaurant 'Doctor Faust'.
