The Russian occupiers are advancing on Toretsk in the Donetsk region
The Russian occupiers are intensifying their aggression on the city of Toretsk, increasing assault actions and artillery shelling. They have also relocated additional troops from the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions. This was reported by the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group 'Luhansk', Dmytro Zaporizhets.
'The enemy is concentrating its main forces on capturing the city of Toretsk and is actively advancing, using troops from the 150th Motorized Rifle Division and other units from the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions. Assault actions have increased. Over the past week, we have managed to record an average of 100 assaults per day,' Zaporizhets stated.
According to him, artillery activity has significantly increased in the Toretsk direction due to the involvement of additional troops. Previously, the enemy carried out from 30 to 80 shellings per day, but now their number exceeds 100.
Zaporizhets also noted that the enemy's tactics of using small assault groups have changed.
Let us remind you that the occupiers are trying to penetrate Basivka between Zhuravka and Novenky in Sumy region, using both infantry and quads.
