Famous restaurant chef Sergiy Pantak killed in war.


Ukraine has lost an outstanding chef, Sergiy Pantak, who was killed on the front line. This was reported by volunteer Yulia Kiseleva from Kherson.
“Kherson has lost one of its best residents. Our friend Sergiy Pantak, who defended our country and fought for our freedom to the last, has died”, - wrote Kiseleva.
During the war, Sergiy, together with his fellow chefs from Kherson, prepared food for doctors, patients, and people who were in bomb shelters. The chefs fed 200 to 300 people daily.
Later, Sergiy decided to go to the front and served in the 196th Separate Battalion of the 124th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as an FPV drone pilot.
Sergiy Pantak was a renowned chef of the restaurant “Kabanos” and had repeatedly received the national culinary award Ukrainian Culinary Faces. In 2021, he was among the top 100 chefs in the country.
The deceased fighter is survived by his wife, daughter, and parents.
Earlier, it was reported that former Chernivtsi City Council deputy Dmytro Sirman was killed on the front line.
