Resident of Dnipro created a car cemetery among high-rise buildings.

Issue of the car cemetery in Dnipro
A car cemetery has appeared in the yard of high-rise buildings in one of the residential areas in Dnipro. A local resident has been bringing and leaving old cars, minibuses, and trucks outdoors for the fourth year. People have complained that they asked the man to remove the cars and also contacted the city parking inspection. This was reported in a story by 'Suspilne' based on information from 'Hromadske'.
'Firstly, it interferes with people, and the environment is getting polluted,' says local resident Iryna.
The woman explains that the yard at the 12th quarter, where she lives, has turned into a car dump, where since February 2022, cars have been brought by a man from a neighboring building. And although people have asked him to remove the vehicles, he only promises to do so, without rushing to fulfill it.
Plans of the authorities and police
The head of the temporary vehicle detention department, Vitaliy Melnyk, explains that the parking inspection received requests regarding the vehicles in the yard, but they were parked legally. If necessary, the cars will be moved to designated areas that the city authorities are working on.
'This violates the rules of landscaping in populated areas, for which a fine of up to UAH 1360 is provided,' explains the spokesperson for the patrol police, Liudmyla Kopylenko.
From May 1, 2025, liquid biofuel will start being used in automotive gasoline in Ukraine. The bioethanol blend is currently more expensive than regular gasoline, but a price decrease may occur due to changes in the global market. The government has also made changes to the rules for motorcycle and moped drivers.
In cities, it is important to adhere to parking rules to avoid violating landscaping and to preserve ecology. People must be more attentive to their actions to maintain cleanliness and order in their living environment.
