The President of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, said during the conference of central banks of Ukraine and Poland that Ukraine can attract significant investments for recovery over the next decade. However, it is important for investors to have guarantees of effective fund distribution.

Lagarde warned against the improper allocation of capital, which could harm long-term growth. She noted positive changes in Ukraine, particularly in the financial sector, which help attract foreign investment.

'Banking regulation in Ukraine now meets 74% of EU standards, covering critical areas such as capital adequacy, corporate governance, and auditing,' Lagarde emphasized.

The ECB President also highlighted the importance of further reforms, particularly in the area of fiscal management. She called for transparent and effective distribution of funds for the country's recovery.
