For the third Time recently, the Colosseum has been damaged. This time the vandal was a German tourist. The teenager broke away from the group and the teacher, and carved “something” on the monument's wall. Interestingly, this incident is already the third in a few weeks.
The first was a tourist who scratched his name and the name of his beloved on the walls, then a woman who also decided to make history. In all cases, tourists face a hefty fine of 15 thousand euros. They may also face actual imprisonment for up to 5 years.

The Italian authorities are trying to combat such vandalism. For example, in such significant places it is forbidden to eat or drink. Often, tourists are also required to adhere to a specific dress code. However, even this does not save the situation.
