Iranian media report explosions in Tehran, while according to The Wall Street Journal, Israel is prepared to strike Iran if the US proposal to limit the nuclear program is rejected. A state representative says that the strike could occur even as early as Sunday. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also discussed the possible strike with US President Donald Trump. For his part, Trump confirmed the possibility of a strike but hopes to avoid conflict through negotiations.

Evacuation of American diplomats from Iraq has also been announced due to rising threats. President Trump hopes that a conflict between Israel and Iran can be avoided through negotiations regarding the nuclear deal, thus avoiding war in the region.
