UN Fund warned about fraud on behalf of the organization regarding the payment of financial assistance.

The United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine (UNFPA Ukraine) warns citizens about phishing attacks where unknown individuals send messages with false information on their behalf.
UNFPA Ukraine confirms that they do not make regular payments to the population and they do not have an official channel or account in Telegram, nor do they publish announcements about registration for receiving financial assistance on social networks.
As for any payments for pregnant and breastfeeding women, the Fund only asks to provide an exchange card, an identification code, and an account number. They do not request any more personal data.
The Fund urges citizens to be cautious and not to visit suspicious resources, and also not to share their personal data. If a case of fraud is detected, it is recommended to contact the Cyber Police at the contacts: ticket.cyberpolice.gov.ua, 0800 50 51 70, or callcenter@cyberpolice.gov.ua.
