Yermak discussed a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine with Witkoff and Kellogg.

Online meetings to implement the ceasefire
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a series of online meetings with representatives of the USA and European countries to implement a full 30-day ceasefire. This step could mark the beginning of genuine peace talks.
The negotiations involved special representatives of the U.S. President Stephen Witkoff and Keith Kellogg, the diplomatic adviser to the President of France Emmanuel Bonne, the national security adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Jonathan Powell, and the adviser to the Chancellor of Germany Günther Saathoff. Consultations were also held with representatives of Northern Europe, the Baltics, the European Council, and the European Commission.
'A thirty-day ceasefire would pave the way for meaningful negotiations aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace. If Moscow agrees to this proposal, we are ready for dialogue with the involvement and support of the USA and European partners,' noted the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
The participants of the negotiations also discussed potential pressure tools on Russia in case of refusal of the proposed truce or violation of agreements. Ukraine positively assessed the draft law on the application of secondary sanctions against Russia, developed by Congress members led by Lindsey Graham.
Analysis:
Ukraine has actively taken on the resolution of the conflict in the east of the country and has begun a diplomatic path to achieve peace. Effective negotiations and support from partners create hope for an improvement in the situation in the region.
