Very dangerous: Zelensky commented on Trump's negotiations with Putin without Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the danger of excluding Kyiv from US and RF discussions about Russia's war against Ukraine. He suggested having more discussions with Washington regarding the development of a ceasefire plan and warned that Russia does not want to engage in negotiations to stop hostilities. In particular, Zelensky noted that there is a possibility of bringing Putin to the negotiating table through the threat of sanctions and continued support for Ukrainian troops.
Zelensky warned that talking about Ukraine without the participation of the Ukrainian side is dangerous for everyone.
The president also noted that his team is already in contact with the Trump administration, but so far these conversations have been general in nature. Zelensky hopes for personal meetings with American officials to develop specific agreements.
The president warned about the risk that Putin might 'take control' of the war and threaten to escalate the conflict. He also criticized the new US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statement that the war forces Ukraine to regress a hundred years back, and suggested Rubio visit Ukraine and see what Russia has done and what contribution the Ukrainian people have made to the security of the country and the world.
