The Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure of the Kyiv City Council announced a new program to support the energy independence of apartment buildings.
According to the program, part of the cost of independent sources of electricity purchased for the needs of apartment buildings will be reimbursed.
Main provisions of the program:
- The amount of compensation is 75% of the total cost of equipment, but not more than 80 thousand hryvnias per building.
- Applications can be submitted by:
- OSBB
- Housing and Building Cooperatives/OK
- Legal entities servicing the objects
- Housing cooperatives
- Apartment buildings with a selected manager
- The following equipment is subject to compensation:
- Gasoline, diesel, and gas generators
- Solar charging stations
- Inverters
- Other similar equipment
- Required documents:
- Application for compensation
- Copy of extract from the Unified State Register
- Copy of the protocol on the choice of the manager (if available)
- Certified copy of the expense invoice for the purchased equipment
Applications are accepted at the district state administrations of Kyiv. The full text of the reimbursement procedure is available on the official website of the city authorities.
This initiative complements Kyiv's existing energy-efficient projects program "70/30%", which has been operating for 9 years and helps OSBB and housing cooperatives implement energy-saving technologies.
