A man who shot people in Ternopil region has been charged.


A man who shot two people and injured four more in the village of Dobrovody in the Ternopil region has been charged. He faces life imprisonment. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

On August 15, in one of the villages of the Zbarazh community in the Ternopil district, a man dressed in military uniform arranged a shooting. As a result, two people died, and four more were injured. Two of the victims were hospitalized, while others received medical assistance at the scene.
The police promptly detained the perpetrator and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
On Friday, August 16, the police investigators under the procedural guidance of the Ternopil specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Western region informed the suspect about the suspicion of committing a crime.
Investigative actions are being carried out with the suspect, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided.
It was previously reported that a shooting occurred in Pechersk, Kyiv, on the night of Monday, August 5. The conflict arose between a serviceman and the security guard of the elite residential complex "Boulevard of Fountains" on Johan Paul II Street. According to a video spread on the network, one man, threatening with a gun, tries to make the other do something. Finally, after the aggressor ran out of arguments, he started shooting in the air.
