The man planned to escape abroad for six months but fell asleep on the way.

Ukrainian border guards detected the offender while checking passengers on a bus from Ivano-Frankivsk to Prague. The man from Khmelnytskyi had no legal grounds to cross the border during martial law, so he was asked to undergo additional inspection. This information was provided by the State Border Guard Service.
During the interrogation, law enforcement officers established that the man had planned to bypass the checkpoint in Zhytomyr and sneak into Slovakia. He planned to move to Poland, where his father lives.
This plan was being prepared for six months. In the end, he decided to go to Bukovel and then to Uzhhorod, where he planned to cross the border into Slovakia.
Everything was going according to plan until the man wanted alcohol in Uzhhorod. He bought alcohol at the station, drank it, and fell asleep on the bus. The sleeping man was woken up at passport control by border guards.
The offender was detained administratively. He will have to answer in court for attempting to cross the border illegally.
In recent days, three cases of fictitious marriages have also been detected at the border with Poland. All these men were trying to leave Ukraine using their wives' illnesses as a cover. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
We remind you that Ukrainian border guards had to stop two residents of Vinnytsia region and one resident of Donetsk region with warning shots when they tried to run from them at a distance of 100 meters from the border with Hungary. The men stopped and complied with all the border guards' requirements after the shots.
