British intelligence revealed the consequences of the strike on the Caspian Fleet base.

A Ukrainian drone struck the Russian Navy's naval base in the Caspian port
British intelligence analyzed the strike by a Ukrainian drone on the Caspian Fleet naval base of the Russian Navy on November 6. This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense.
According to British intelligence, on November 6, Ukraine struck with a drone at the port of Kaspiysk in Russia. At that Time, several ships of the Russian Navy were likely at the base, including two Gepard-class frigates, which likely sustained damage.

Currently, the extent of the damage is unknown, but any damage to ships will likely be quickly repaired, military sources claim. The Russian Caspian Flotilla could have been used for mass attacks on Ukraine in 2022 and for isolated attacks in 2023-2024, intelligence reports.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the Russian ships damaged as a result of the strike were not used to attack Ukrainian territory. Despite the low activity in the Black Sea at the moment, this strike indicates Ukraine's ability to strike at Russian targets previously considered safe for operations, military intelligence notes.
According to intelligence, the Ukrainian drone likely flew over a large area of Russia without interception. 'This will likely alarm the Russian political and military leadership,' intelligence adds.
Recall that on November 6, drones attacked the Russian city of Kaspiysk in Dagestan, resulting in damage to the local port.
According to ISW, Ukrainian forces first struck the Russian naval base in Kaspiysk in Dagestan, damaging several missile ships of the Caspian Fleet of Russia.
It is also worth mentioning that in the spring, on November 15, dozens of drones attacked the Krasnodar region. The 'Krymsk' airfield was the target of the attack.
