Moment of remembrance for the heroes of war
Every day at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Vasyl Lypyei.
On May 10, 2025, soldier Vasyl Lypyei, known by the call sign 'Prince', passed away after a long Time defending our homeland. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the Lviv City Council.
Vasyl Lypyei was born on June 25, 1973, in Lviv. He had an education in machine tool operation and telecommunications. He worked as a courier and was active in public affairs.
He had high moral values, participated in the Revolution of Dignity, and later joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He took part in the liberation of various regions from Russian occupiers.
Vasyl Lypyei was awarded numerous honors for bravery and courage. He is buried at Lychakiv Cemetery among the new heroes.
He left behind a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a sister. 'Glavkom' also joins the moment of silence to honor the memory of all the fallen heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine.

The bright memory of the heroes who stood in defense of their country will always live in the memory of the nation. They are true examples of courage and dedication to the idea of freedom. Our duty is to remember their feats and honor their memory every day. We thank them for their sacrifice and loyalty to the Ukrainian people.
