Bonus after childbirth $5 thousand. The White House gathers ideas to increase birth rates in the USA.

The White House is exploring ideas to support a cultural program and conservative family values, as well as to persuade Americans to marry and have more children. This was reported by the site 'Glavkom' citing the New York Times.
One of the proposed ideas is to pay a 'child bonus' of up to $5 thousand to mothers after childbirth.
Trump supporters, including Elon Musk and Vice President JD Vance, are urging Americans to have more children.
According to the publication, one idea is to allocate 30% of the scholarships from the Fulbright government program for applicants who are married or have children.
There is also a proposal to fund programs that provide women with information about their menstrual cycles so they better understand their ovulation and chances of pregnancy.
The administration did not specify which ideas will be implemented, but 'supporters are confident that the issue of birth rates will become an important part of the agenda.'
Trump has called for a 'baby boom' in the USA and referred to himself as the 'president of fertilization.' In February, he signed an order to expand access to in vitro fertilization.
In the United States, the birth rate has been declining for several decades. After a slight increase following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, the birth rate in the USA fell to a historic low in 2023 - 1.62 births per woman. The 'replacement level' for a stable population is 2.1.
Elon Musk suggests women give birth to his heir to create a 'legion' of children through his social network X. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
