They were beaten with sticks for fleeing from their positions. The occupier explained why he surrendered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A young Russian occupier, Kyrylo Dyzenko, was captured by Ukrainian Armed Forces after he signed a contract with them, trying to avoid responsibility for his actions. The military of the 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces detained him, as reported by 'Glavkom'.
«The training lasted a week, there were many physical exercises and running. Then we were sent to another training ground in a military unit, where another week of training also took place. To be honest, it was not the easiest training», the Russian recounted.
Dyzenko shared his experience working in the New York area of Donetsk region, where he collaborated with Chinese colleagues. After shifts in the towers, they decided to retreat but ended up being captured by Ukrainian paratroopers.
The occupier also spoke about the cruel treatment of Russian military personnel by their command, pointing to fights and sending soldiers into senseless risks. Earlier, near Kharkiv, Russian company commander Vladislav Balhrabski led his unit to Ukrainian positions to save them from death.
In the cessation of hostilities in the conflict zone, the willingness of young servicemen to reassess their views and turn to other service practices can be of great significance.
