Homeowners must re-register the personal account with the gas distribution company
The Kharkiv City Branch of 'Gazmereshe' reports that owners of recently purchased or inherited housing must re-register the personal account with the gas distribution company.
The re-registration procedure requires a personal visit to the Customer Service Center in Kharkiv and cannot be done online. To successfully re-register the account, it is necessary to prepare a complete set of documents.
What documents are needed for gas re-registration:
- Passport of a citizen of Ukraine or ID card (original and copy)
- Registration number of the taxpayer's account card (identification code)
- Document confirming ownership: sale, donation or rental agreement
- Technical passport for the residence or house book
- Certificate of family composition (only needed if there is no gas meter)

Gas tariffs will remain fixed
Let us remind you that the gas tariffs for 12 million households 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' remain fixed - 7.96 UAH per cubic meter until the end of April 2025.
The company 'Naftogaz' also reminds consumers of the importance of periodic verification of gas meters, which for devices with an accuracy class of 1 is carried out every two years, and for meters with an accuracy class of 1.5 - every eight years.
