Atmospheric front will bring snow and cold to Ukraine: forecast from Didenko.


From November 21, Ukraine is expected to experience a significant deterioration in weather conditions. The incoming cold atmospheric front will lead to a sharp drop in temperature and a change in precipitation types.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
'The first serious cold snap from positive temperatures to frost will turn rain into heavy snowfall,' notes the forecaster.
It is forecasted that on November 21, the atmospheric front will be accompanied by rain with snow, strong winds, and wet snow sticking. The forecaster emphasizes that such weather conditions will create additional stress on the energy system and complicate transportation conditions.
The forecast for the coming days is as follows: on Monday, November 18, predominantly dry weather is expected across Ukraine, except for Volyn and Rivne regions, where light precipitation is forecasted. The air temperature will range from +4 to +9 degrees, while in the south of the country it will be somewhat warmer - from +8 to +11 degrees.
In Kyiv, on November 18, the temperature will be +6...+7 degrees, it will be windy, but no precipitation is expected. However, significant deterioration in weather conditions is forecasted in the capital starting from November 21.
'Although such a synoptic situation is relatively traditional for this Time of year, conditions for the population, transport, and energy infrastructure will become more complicated,' emphasizes Natalka Didenko.
